Is it stupid that I'm more scared of catching the flu than ebola?

No.

Why, you ask? Because SCIENCE IS REAL AND I'M NOT IN DANGER. Everyone please calm the hell down with the alerts and newsflashes and that ominous, blood red picture of the virus.

Ask yourself these questions:
--Are you having unprotected sex with someone infected with ebola? Ok, then you should be scared. (Actually, if you're having unprotected sex with someone *not* infected with ebola, you should still be scared, because the list of other diseases you are exposed to is a mile long. WRAP IT UP.)

--Are you touching the feces of someone infected with ebola without protective wear? Ok, then you should be scared.

--Are you handling the blood of someone infected with ebola without protective wear? Ok, then you should be scared.

--ARE YOU NOT WASHING YOUR NASTY AZZ HANDS AFTER YOU USE THE BATHROOM? Yeah, you should definitely be scared. OF EVERYTHING.

Other than that? You are going to be fine. Calm down. We all know what bodily fluids are, yes? Keep yours to yourself and everyone will be ok. AND WASH YOUR DAMN HANDS. With SOAP AND WATER. Rinsing is not washing, kids.
